If Wyo doesn't make MWC Title game....

No one hacked my account. This is Beaver. Since I've been a Wyo student we've had the Boot.
That might not mean anything to 99% of the students, or even the freaking football team, but for me, it matters.
I was a DC supporter with some doubts creeping into my mind before saturday. After getting BLOWN out, I have lost 99% of my DC-faith.
The 1% I have left, is saying he better at least get into the MWC title game THIS season.
Not likely, but he better do it now.

I've known that DC was a total Bozo for years, and even I have a little bit more than 1% faith in him. Not much more, but a little, as he occassionally steps in shit and gets lucky, as he did with Brett. Let's face it, he didn't orchestrate some hard-core recruiting job on Brett or swoop in and steal him from another program. We were his best offer. We got lucky.

I guess it's possible, but I can't see how we end up in the Title game. Even if Brett and the receivers catch fire again, the defensive side of the ball isn't going to change overnight. What you see is what we have, and will continue to have as long as this Bozo leads our program.

Our best hope to avoid this season being a total disaster is a bowl game. But now I am worrying that we may not make a bowl game even if we squeeze out 2 more wins. The MWC has 6 bowl games. I haven't looked at everyone's schedules and crunched the numbers, but it looks like we could end up with more than 6 teams in the MWC that end up with 6 wins or more. If they have to choose between Wyoming and another program it could be a close call. We have an exciting QB and we travel well, but we also have the smallest TV market and got hammered the last time we played in a bowl game, by Temple!

Coach DC needs to be on the extremely hot seat if he doesn't get Wyo into the MWC Title game THIS season.
I would say fired, BUT, I don't want Smith leaving early if DC is fired, or Thompson transferring away.

Why is this the season to be in the MWC title game???

Well, after suffering his first loss to CSU, he better pick his shit up ESPECIALLY because the only other 2 teams in our division that could make the MWC championship game, BOTH have their STARTING QBs injured for the season.
USU does not have Keaton. Boise does not have Southwick.
Wyoming has NO excuse to not make the MWC title game this season.

Yes the odds are stacked against us. But if DC wants to be a good coach, and Wyoming wants to be a good team, they HAVE to figure it out, and get into the MWC title game THIS season.

I doubt we do it. But if there is any year to do it, it's this season.
Prove me wrong DC. PLEASE!

Christensen has never lost to CSU in his career. The fleas of a thousand camels are about to infect his underpants. Us pokes should pay attention - he has never seen this kind of fury before. I bet he is ready for SJSU this weekend. And as pokes fans, I hope we beat them good. We do have a good football team - it just relies heavy on coaching to get them prepared.

it's sometimes good to lose to your rival to keep it fresh and refocus the things you need to work on if you dominated it every year then you get complacent. I think the big thing is people are upset by the salary of our coach and the results being the same year in and year out.

I think people upset by the salary don't have a clue how college football works.

According to the list that was posted by McPeachy CDC is the third highest paid coach in the conference (unless I missed counted).....we haven't even been in the top third of the conference.....not seeing the payback?

You never said overall. You said we never finished in the top 3rd of the conference, when we have.
