If Tanner Gentry's dad is here.....

I now that we have spoken in the past and that Tanner was hoping to just see the field this season.

Well, I recorded the FSU game and have gone back and seen it again and I wanted to say that he really stepped up big time in that game and had some critical catches on 3rd down that kept some important drives alive! I just wanted to say congratulations for Tanner and his performance, it got over shadowed by Hill's incredible performance, but Tanner was an important and critical piece of Wyoming's victory at FSU.

Claiborne as well had some critical catches, don't want to forget his contribution as well.

Simpson or Gentry? Tanner Simpson's dad is on here sometimes but I think you are talking about Tanner Gentry in your post. Simpson has gotten some playing time this year but hasn't contributed much yet.

Maybe you talked to Tanner Gentry's dad before but I was just trying to clarify because Gentry's dad isn't on here that I know of.

Tanner Gentry has been playing rather well lately I agree as well as Clairborne.

Tanner Gentry is who I was speaking about.

I have a mutual friend of tanner's dad, it's great to have Tanner in the program, and he's a big part of our future! :thumb:

Gotcha...Figured you were but since Tanner Simpson's dad is on this website thought I would clarify that. Gentry has been very good.

I like both Tanners. Two great young men. When i brought my youngest to the Cowboy kids camp, they were great with all the kids. This program is filled with a lot of upstanding people and i think Bohl has done a great job weeding out the bad seeds.

Tanner Simpson's dad here. He is currently injured. He has been sidelined with a stress fracture since the Mich State game. Tanner Gentry is an incredible receiver and I concur he has been a huge factor and will continue to be. I am just hoping my Tanner can get healthy and back out there with his teammates. Thanks, Steve

Oh darn, sorry to hear that about your son. I hope he heals up and gets back out there. Fine athlete, saw him play in high school before. You've raised a fine young man!

Ouch. Sorry to hear that. Hope he gets better soon!

This is weird. Tanner Gentry's had already played a full season so the "hope that he sees the field" doesn't really seem to fit. Especially since he was clearly the #2 guy coming into the season. I guess you can always hope your kid sees the field whether he is a walk-on or a returning starter though.

Yup, he is most definitely thinking of the wrong kid.

No, it was quite a bit earlier that I spoke with Tanner's Dad, so you are mistaking my earlier conversation (about a year ago) to today.
