If tailgate park is always going to be tailgate park?

Why don't they build some permanent inexpensive structures to jazz up the environment a little bit...

I think they need to build a couple of rows of Wyoming ghost town era buildings for the concessions. Build South Pass City's main street along one of the fencelines. Build old wood buildings that look like something from a Western Movie. They wouldn't have to be big. They would be cheap to make using old weathered lumber.

How much fun would that be? Tailgate in a late 1800's Wyoming Mining town.

Under Glenn the south practice field usually had the OL, DL, LB, and DBs on the field for half the practice. Not sure if things have changed under DC, but I would imagine it gets used daily by the team.

Love the basic idea.

However, that area definitely gets used as a practice field. Last August a lot of the two a day football practices were there. [Cannot speak as much to practices once the season got started, as I was too busy with other things to stop by to watch.]

Also, during the summer lots of sports camps for kids use that area. I see lots of young folks playing soccer there in July.

Taxpayers should be proud of how much use the University makes of this area. One important use is as "Tailgate Park." But that is only one among several.
