do you still want Schroyer fired?

Justing posting a hypothetical question here.

The Aztecs top scorer Billy White is out for the game this weekend with a high ankle sprain. So maybe we can pull this one off? Or we have another performance like Wednesday.

Could be a long second half....
 
I don't want him fired yet. I'll give him this conference season to show some improvement, but the way it looks right now, we might not win more than 2 conference games. Then its going to get pretty hot in my book.
 
I think the Aztecs were without White for almost all of their victory over New Mexico. So I dont think we should get too excited. We might match up a bit better with SDSU, but unless we can get the defense and the rebounding problems fixed it isnt going to matter. Their athletes are better than our athletes, and they realize they are playing for a conference championship. We dont seem to be playing for anything. Will there be anyone there to watch anyway?

I hope so, but our fan base is as bandwagon as you can get. Support your team regardless fans.

SDSU will be tough and a good crowd could really help.

I didnt make it last night, but I will on Saturday. I admit that my enthusiasm is beginning to wane, which is unfortunate becasue I was really pumped for this season. I agree that fans need to be supportive come thick or thin. But the team has to show some enthusiasm too. For some reason this year, every game, we seem to have a few players (and it changes ) that just are going thru the motions out there.

I don't necessarily want him fired right now either, just voicing some displeasure. If he can't turn things around and get this team playing god fundamental basketball, then his seat gets pretty warm IMO.

I hope we can pull off the victory against SDSU, as that would be a pretty big upset and make me feel a little better. But based on what I saw last night, I'm not holding my breath...

You know, the AD might answer yes to the questions. After all, it didn't even take a win, it took a lackluster loss in a make-believe tournament that cost us around $80,000 to play in to earn a two-year extension for Schroyer. Hell, he might have gotten a lifetime contract if he had won that game.
But then he might not want that. There is, after all, some reason that he has never put his house in Fresno up for sale.
 
Even IF they win I want him gone. But that is a BIG if. He is a terrible all around coach.
Ill be there sat. Ill be the one yelling at Heath at the top of my lungs all game as we get stomped
 
OK. Twelve hours later and I can finally consider the absurd hypothetical situation presented here. Yes, If UW wins (....don't..... laugh...must...keep...typing....), I still want Shroyer fired. I wanted him fired half way through his first season and haven't changed my mind. I had a brief almost reprieve after this year's Boise State game where the Pokes looked seriously good, but that quickly evaporated.

The reason he's not selling his house in Fresno is he knows he's doomed here.

Or maybe he had plans that did not involve a long-term committment to Wyoming, even though he said that's why he took the job.
 
Stunned silence. I actually tortured myself by listening to this entire game and man am I glad I did. I don't mind being wrong. Actually kinda like it when the Pokes win. Therefore, I predict the Pokes will not win one more game and never ever make the NCAA's.

I still think Shroyer needs to go. As previous mentioned, the Pokes looked awesome in the BSU game too only to follow it up with home losses to schools I've never heard of and can't even remember now.
