If Burman truly is flying to Detroit via commercial

Lol......Since this becoming like a game of clue I'm saying Burman lands Tedford. 1-Since being reported he was on top of Wyo list of candidates there has been no report he has withdrawn his name or turned us down 2-Fresno HC is going nowhere else this year 3-Got to believe he wants coach with D-1 experience as HC. There is no other program reporting their guy is leaving for Wyo. So Xmas comes early we land Tedford. I may be wrong but this makes as much sense as anybody else's hunch on here

Wonder why he flew commercial...
He was pissed that fans tracked him last time out with bball search.
Does that really seem to you like a legitimate reason to eschew the status of a private jet? Especially if one is "picking up" the new head coach.

The State-owned aircraft are easy to track with Flight Aware. If you know the tail numbers of the aircraft you just punch that in and set up an email alert anytime a flight plan is filed for that tail number.

Now having said that, there could be a fat cat with a private jet who could fly Burman around undetected because we wouldn't know the aircraft tail number.
Didnt he fly on the McMurrays jet when he interviewed shyatt?

I'd be a glorious hunch if true. Personally, I'm setting myself up for disappointment so hopefully I can be pleasantly surprised.

Do you think he would be dumb enough to do it again? Yeah probably! Get that tail number.

I know all that, and there's plenty of jet-tracking going on whenever there's a coaching search somewhere. Seems to me it's not such a big deal that they actually go to the trouble of flying commercial to elude such tracking. I think there's another possibility.

The range of the Citation is a little over 3,100 miles. Hawaii from LA is about 2200 miles. If that range is under optimal conditions, I'd submit a flight to Hawaii might be a bit of a dicey proposition.

It would also explain the timing of the alleged press event...

He replaced his first jet with this one specifically for Hawaii flights

This is where I think it is heading-

Could be, but having worked for a company with a private jet capable of flying to Hawaii, we never did. Always flew commercial.

I bet its way expensive with the private airfield fees. Far cheaper to fly first class
