Idaho Vandals Game Week

Although I am basking in the E for effort from the Nebraska game, it is officially Idaho game week. I got rooms and in less than 5 days I will be road tripping to watch the pokes play. I am going to be a worthless pile of hud at work this week in anticipation.

That being said, UW is 25 point favs. Do we have a let down or do we ride this momentum and cover this with ease?

I think DC will keep on the team to show improvement. No let down. I think our 1's play 3 quarters and then the 4th is for cleanup. Wyo rolls 45-6.

Wyo won't have a "let down" after an "almost win".

The Pokes will destroy Idaho.
I mean, 40-6 against North Texas, are you kidding me?
Smith will have a HUGE day against them at home. He had a huge game against them last season, even right after the concussion.
The game last year, we barely won, but that was right after the loss against Cal Poly which had to have drained the teams morale.
This team knows they can win, and will likely come out with the energy they played against Nebraska. And I think we will see the biggest blowout of the DC era.
It could be 45-6, but I think something like 56-7 is more likely.

Yeah. Though it's fine for fans to be overconfident. What really matters is that our team doesn't overlook ANYBODY, regardless of how good/bad they are. Unless we're up by 4+ scores going into the 4th, I want the pedal to the metal.

Yeah it does, but unlike the Nebraska fans, we as a fan base are a lot more realistic. We don't think that every season we are going to win the National Title. We don't pretend we have the best QB in the country (because we know we have the best one )

Plus, Wyoming is coming off a near upset of the #18 Huskers, Idaho is coming off a 40-6 loss to North Texas.

My prediction for this game is 56-3 Idaho does not have the offense they did last year and our d will be able to shut them down. I also think that our offense will score at will until we take the starters out early.

Also, alot of confidence after the NE game. It should be a blow out, and noting less would be acceptable, especially after the overall team performance in Lincoln.

Has anyone heard anything on injuries? For me, one of the interesting story lines is that the players seem to be in better shape than anything in the past 5 plus years. We play these big teams, and lose players. So far, I have only heard of one player who may be hurt. Anyone have any insider info for us?

Honestly, I have nothing against UI. Gesser did great there. I will not speak garbage on their program unless they unleash it first. O have read several of their posts and it seems like they are pretty realistic.

Spread is now -27.5. O/U at 61. Wyoming just narrowly missed beating Nebraska, scoring 34 points at their place. Wyoming should score at least 42 points IMO (lots in the 1st half, called off the dogs in the 2nd). So Vegas is predicting something like 44-17 if my math is right. I would take the under on 61....with Wyoming scoring 45+ points, and Idaho under 10. I read that their coach burned all his timeouts in the first quarter because there was that much confusion. Wyoming has some improving to do on defense, but they should hammer these guys.

So my educated guess.....Wyoming 49, Idaho - 9 (3 FGs). Brett Smith and the first team offense get front row seats to a Wyoming football game in the 2nd half. Defense takes the confidence it gained against Nebraska and whips with the Vandals.

Yep, that is how it is done.
Then when they get mad at us for treating them like they are nothing, we just say "hey we just wanted a place to talk about the upcoming game and say what we honestly believe will happen".
