Idaho Game

Huge break for the Pokes. Idaho’s starting QB is out. Bummer for him he has a broken collarbone. We might have a chance to pull this one off. I’d still say Idaho is probably the favorite.

Idaho will be starting a freshman at QB.

I saw that. I say, be careful what you wish for. The kid will probably light us up for 500, and Tom Brady's his ass into the starting role for the next 2 years before hitting the NIL jackpot and joining Oregon.

Sawvel on Idaho “This is a big challenge. They’re well rounded. They’re well coached. This is a good team.”

A middle of the road FCS team starting a freshman backup QB is now a big challenge for the Pokes. Reminds me of our big win over Furman back in the Koenning days.

Makes me sick. I can hear it almost as I am listening in live.

"Look, they are well rounded" "Look...this is a big challenge" "Look; they're well coached" "Look: this is a good team"

I really don't care if Idaho is a good football team or not. All I care about is how we play the game of football.

If the team shows up looking like they collectively woke up from a nap 30 minutes earlier, arm tackle/shoulder check the ball carriers as they run down the field for an extra 5-10 yards, give up after the first small amount of adversity, and look generally disinterested in the outcome of the game, then I'm not sure I can watch anymore of this team.

I would love to know what the ASU coaching staff and players really think of the Wyoming team they just played. They are probably embarrassed for us. We quit. Truthfully, we didn't even show up. The whole team, coaching staff in particular, should be ashamed. That team in Tempe on Saturday night doesn't accurately represent the state of Wyoming and sure as hell doesn't represent me.

It's odd to think that this is really a must win game. I think a loss here sends the program in a tail spin.

Keys:
No penalties
Tackle, tackle, tackle
Shore up line play

Give Svoboda good easy looks. Limit reads to half the field with an obvious check down or out of bounds if primary read is covered.

These should be attainable goals against fcs.

He had easy looks against ASU and couldn’t have hit a bull in the ass with a scoop shovel.

After last Saturday - I’d be glad with a 1 point win.

This reminded me of the Boise St game last year.
