Ok... I think I have this thing figured out. I found the spot we need to hit pregame, and where to park.

Parking... there is a parking garage just on the east side of the EMP Center. which is on the east side of the seattle center. Key arena is west side. a little walk, but who cares.

south of the emp center is the 5 point café. http://the5pointcafe.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

its a 24 hour café, and bar. My buddy says its an iconic spot that locals head too. one of the old school dives, with good grub. LOOK at the menu, this is a seattle experience. There are "Breakfast" drinks. Great fish and chips. salmon. Jutebox. ya, I think this is where we need to go.

it will be a 5-8 block walk to the game afterwards.

junky and I will leave my house sometime around 730 in the morning. we should be up there around 830... give or take 15 minutes. probably at the café around 9ish.
Just talked to Beav, we will be there around 9.

What are you jokers doing for tickets? Did you get through stubhub. My gosh, they are pricey buggers. I realize there are only so many tix to go around, but dang. $210 for upper bowl ticket? Come on.

I went through stubhub Sunday night and got them for 150. Like others have said, they might come down Friday morning, but its hard to make plans with something like that

Crabpot on the waterfront is a fun place, bit spendy but fun place, they dump a whole bucket out in front of ya, seafood etc.....

we're just waiting until the day of and gonna talk to scalpers, knowing we're probably looking at 150 or less lower bowl, about 100 higher bowl...we'll see what happens, the closer you wait the better me thinks

I think you guys will be surprised at the deals you come across on Friday morning for tickets. For session 1, you are looking at WYO, Northern Iowa, UC Irvine, and Louisville. The only team I could see having a decent fanbase in attendance would be Louisville. Scalpers will be nervous to unload what they have left with so little selling time Friday morning outside the stadium. If we were in Gonzaga's session, I would be worried, but I think you guys will find much cheaper tickets Friday morning.

Look at the huge price difference between session 1 and session 2 on stubhub. Obviously a reflection of demand. Session 1 cheapest ticket is at $122 with 295 tickets available. Session 2 cheapest ticket is $259 with 214 tickets available. I think prices will continue to drop for session 1.

So... what you are saying, is for session 3 tickets to be reasonable, we need Zaga to get upset (yet again)?

If Wyo wins, the sunday session will be pricey. But how pricey?

I would guess 300 if Zags go.

Correct. I am guessing if UW were to win, their allotment for Sunday would remain the same since there are still 4 teams playing Sunday (same as session 1). Currently the cheapest price for a session 3 ticket on stubhub is $240 with 391 available. My guess is this price will drop some, but not a ton. The only advantage Wyoming fans will have is that they will know if they will or will not be playing Sunday hours before Gonzaga fans will know. I think you either buy your tickets during that window or wait until Sunday.

Gotcha.

My thinking was that, if Wyo wins, and Louisville loses, and there are a lot of Louisville fans there outside the arena, we could potentially buy their session 3 tickets off of them leaving the arena. I mean, if I was a Louisville fan and saw we were playing UC-Irvine I would have probably went ahead and purchased the session 3 tickets. Especially because they understand how this all works and they realize that the Zaga fans would buy up a lot of tickets since it's in Seattle.

But maybe I am just overthinking this.

If they purchased through UofL, they only have tickets for 1 session right now. 3rd session tickets wont be distributed until after teams are determined.

So are we all meeting at this cafe still in the morning?
