If anyone needs a hotel, just did priceline for the Renaissance downtown. Its a 4-star. I bid $99 to start out with and got denied. I upped to $126 and got accepted. Best deal I have found.

I think I am going to take the monorail downtown to the game that way I don't have to pay for parking. Will be easy. Just let me know where you guys are meeting at. Somewhere close by key arena.

all right, starting to formulate a plan I guess. I called an buddy who used to be a sonics nut. gave me some ideas.

if you google earth key arena, and start looking around, there is some parking at memorial stadium... and just north of memorial stadium. I bet if you get to the area around 9, event parking should be available at these two locations. And I really have no idea what it will cost. bring 15-40 for parking.

on google earth, there are some sports bars just northwest of the arena. within 3-4 blocks. the spectator, there is an Irish Pub as well, some espresso shops, a pizza joint.

just throwing out some ideas. we have time to decide... the parking, however, is what I am trying to get.

Ok... I think I have this thing figured out. I found the spot we need to hit pregame, and where to park.

Parking... there is a parking garage just on the east side of the EMP Center. which is on the east side of the seattle center. Key arena is west side. a little walk, but who cares.

south of the emp center is the 5 point café. http://the5pointcafe.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

its a 24 hour café, and bar. My buddy says its an iconic spot that locals head too. one of the old school dives, with good grub. LOOK at the menu, this is a seattle experience. There are "Breakfast" drinks. Great fish and chips. salmon. Jutebox. ya, I think this is where we need to go.

it will be a 5-8 block walk to the game afterwards.

junky and I will leave my house sometime around 730 in the morning. we should be up there around 830... give or take 15 minutes. probably at the café around 9ish.
