I was Mistaken

That's an understatement. I am quite glad I didn't drive over the hill to watch this mess. Ol' Dave may have to make some changes if this doesn't improve...

If we lose this game then I lose all confidence in Dave Christensen. I know that he's done some good things, but if we lose today...........

I don't know if he's the right head coach.

I think DC is good, but he needs to make a smart hire on D. We can find a great LB coach at a big program with a good defense and hire them away. Or a Vic Koenig type that was a head coach, but a defensive mastermind.

What stresses me the most is the fact that DC will NOT make changes. We have been struggling and we keep doing the exact same things. We don't change our defensive schemes, we don't take chances on offense, and we don't do anything to change the way we play the game. There seems to be no confidence or energy in this team...I guess I don't know if that is a reflection of DC or these players...

Minus Brett Smith, no one one the team has any heart. What makes Smith so good is because he plays with heart and fire, he lacks in talent wise compared to other players, Wyoming needs to find more heart players, and take some shots with the QB

We have got to change something here. This conservative approach isn't cutting it. Start blitzing and changing up the looks. On offense, let Kirkegaard air it out. If he's #2 on the chart he must be good enough to throw the ball. Open up the PLAY BOOK!!!!! God it's so frustrating!!!

Special teams sounds good. Let Colby play QB and build some confidence, I mean honestly what do you have to lose, the run game is not doing it. Test their DB's, make them play for playing right on top of the line of scrimmage

I'm not making excuses as I feel the same way but we are missing a lot of starters so w/e we have to do for that win do it.

Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard. I coacha travel hockey team and preach that saying every day. We need some heart on the field

I wonder if it was Player or Coach that sparked the line into the team in the 2nd quarter, I'd like to think it was a player and wouldn't be surprised if it was Smith.
