I want the NDSU AD.

Again, not at all saying NDSU is a BSU in waiting. I'm just saying you never know. Nonetheless, many more who made the jump struggle than progress like BSU.

Difference is, Bohl is responsible for NDSU's FCS success, since he had been their coach since they moved up from Div 2 to FCS. They have not proven they can win consistently without him at the helm at the FCS level. He laid a good foundation, but still. BSU on the other hand, had continued success throughout most of their existence, despite coach turnover rates.

This just shows you didn't even read what has been said. It's not just geography, but also $$$. Wyoming is putting (admittedly vague) plans together to increase the Athletic Department's budget from around $30 million to about 48 million over the next several years. Where is NDSU's budget? Or were you planning to operate on FCS money at the FBS level? And that's just the tip of the iceburg.

I am going against the grain here, so everyone is entitled to slam me all they want. Myself, I would rather have NDSU in the MWC than SJSU and/or SDSU. SDSU doesn't want to be in the MWC. The only reason they are here is because they didn't have any other options and they would leave in a heartbeat if they had somewhere else to go. They don't even have a football stadium of their own. They have had some recent success though, so they have that going for them. SDSU will always be the red headed step child in CA though - with USC, UCLA, Stanford, UC, and the dozen or so other state schools in CA. SJSU - I don't know how they got into the MWC at all. They don't have much of anything going for them. I would take NDSU over both of those CA schools.

NDSU's AD has done very well for himself, at the FCS level. No matter what NDSU says, in the grand scheme of things they are still small fries (even smaller than us). Their accomplishments should be applauded but in reality they shouldn't be worth the breath for Wyoming fans to be discussing. We need to worry about bigger fish, namely our MWC mates.
