I thought it was interesting to find out about crum

Is this old news??? I found out from someone who PM'd me that CRUMS dad donated a bunch of money to Wyoming....wondering if that is why Glenn has stayed so committed to him.....

I had not heard that, but it is not uncommon or even really rare to have parents of players (of any sport) make decent donations to the CJC. If you look at the special "name" parking spaces in the east stands parking lot, you will recognize a LOT of names, of a lot of players from all sports.

In fact, if my son or daughter did end up going somewhere with a athletic scholly in hand (no, they are not allowed to go to CSU or BYU), I would surely make a donation to up my "privledges" and show my committment.

Two thoughts:
1) Politics will always exist in sports, at every level. You like to think that the best guys play, but the truth of the matter is that doesn't always happen. I know that schlorship players will play before a walk on almost always even if the walk on is slightly better (I said almost, not just always).
2) I watched several practices personally this spring and fall. I do think Crum is a better QB than Sween. I am sure that if this is true, we should be happy UW got some donations.

Dont u think Glenn should give another QB a chance.....I mean crum has had four games and shown no improvemnet in my eyes at least.....I am not saying sween should get the nod but for Gosh sakes give a guy a chance and let one of them (3 qb's) practice a full week with the #1 squad....
Crum has had four weeks to show something and it just keeps getting worse...at least I haven't seen any improvement.
Also, I kinda agree with someone else that wrote in...about it not just being the qb's fault.....receivers situation is not that great.
BTW, you seriously see THAT big of a difference between sween/crum to say "oh ya, he should get the nod". Cause if thats the case I would like to get some of that stuff your smokin.

I am not sure it is any of the QB's fault (or WR's even). We run a shit offense, and have shit gameplans.

Retorical question...who is the WR coach? Who is the QB coach?

A shit offense.....I think its pretty well balance pass/run. We have a great run game which should help the passing game. You cant always run the ball and not throw any passes. Also, the game plan may be limited to what the Qb's knowledge of the plays are.....just my feeling is that Crum isn't the brightest diamond in the display window considering he went to a Junior College which we all know what that means and the fact that the routes I see the kids running are very basic and repetitive which tells me that #1 a D-coordiantor that is going against us isn't going to have to a difficult time figuring out our scheme and #2 Crum doesn't know all the plays yet. Seriously, pay close attention to the routes being run this weekend you will see what I mean.

There is a lot more goning on then just a bad QB, Give them all a shot, hopefully someone will step up to the plate and succeed. I don't believe the problem really lies with just the Qb. You are right, our recievers are not great. I have seen way too many dropped passes this year. Our OL is not panning out like everyone thought. In the end, the only thing I can come up with is our coaching is lacking on the offensive side. (duh). I think that crum/sween could succeed in other programs. Why not ours? I am looking for change.
