I really love it when we shoot the ball and.......

the live stream starts to rebuffer and a minute and a half later you get to see what happened.

A few games ago I emailed Kevin and he said the MWC was in charge of the internet stream and they said they were working on it.

Think I will email the conference to see if they can maybe pull their heads out and get this thing fixed.

Someone should contact the conference and offer to put them in touch with one of the local high schools who seem to set up live streaming without any problem. This rebuffering thing has been a problem from the beginning of the year and shows no sign whatsoever of fixing itself.

Must say, however, that the resolution is much better so someone has some idea of what's going on.

They also should stop lingering on those damn replays whilst the game is going on.

I didn't have any issues with the stream for this last game. Some of the buffering issues could be due to your internet service provider. I'm not saying that they have a great product, but that the problem was had by everyone.

I wish I had that job, I'd have us back to a wide screen format and non pixelated viewing.

So, Wyo2dal, why don't you contact them and give them a little brotherly advice. You were working on this for a while and making some good improvements.

Wide screen is what they should be doing (I don't know the difference made by pixelated viewing but I bet it also would be an improvement).

Give them a nudge--no reason for our video to be remedial.

Well it's mainly going to be fixed with the renovations of the AA, UW uses an old laptop they plugin for the streaming services because we don't have a media center in the AA so they need a portable system. By adding a media center in the AA after the renovations we should see high quality streaming because they should invest in a server to do the streaming that I suggested to them instead of trying to do it on a laptop that doesn't have the power to produce a quality product.

Kevin said that the MWC were the ones broadcasting the stream and that is why it is suspect. UW probably is doing the production, camera work, etc, and I guess the MWC is broadcasting it from their server.

You know more about it than I do but it will be nice to see the renovations get done and hopefully they can up the quality whilst that is going on.
