Agreed. Thinking 3 bids this year...hopefully we can see some WYO magic in Vegas and be one of those. I just don't think you are going to keep three of SDSU, NM, CSewe, Utard State and Donkie State out of the dance.
You are probably right, but the MWC's performance in non-conference games this year has not been very good.
All of the better teams in the conference have "bad losses" that are going to hurt their chances come tournament time. SDSU has a loss to Troy. BSU lost that game to Hawaii Pacific to open the season. CSU lost to Denver at home. UNM lost to New Mexico State.
And there aren't any "great wins" that jump out other than BSU. Those four teams can all beat up on each other in conference play, but I don't know that helps them much when all the teams in the MWC are pretty mediocre this year.
