Bohl gets put on a pedestal because the AD and the mediocrity lovers in the donor set put him there. He is held up as the next coming but, in reality, was mid. Every game Sawful coaches is just an extension and reflection of the meh Bohl tenure.

Gotta start by changing out the president (which we’ve already flubbed), then the AD, then hire the coach. TB shouldn’t hire another coach at UW.

The Bohl era offense needs to go. I would argue that Bohl Jr. is actually doing a pretty damn good job with the defense though. We are kind of stuck at this point with the head coach. But he could certainly shake up his offensive guys with some maneuvering of duties. He needs to call up Whittingham and Sitake and ask them to give him advice on this. Those two are the ones that pop in my mind as head coaches that yanked the rug out from under their offensive coordinators somewhat recently. Worked out pretty well for both of them in the end. Of course giving credit to either of those programs literally makes me throw up in my mouth.

If only this were actually an extension/reflection of Bohl. Then you would at least see some toughness and grit. Would they put up crazy points? no...but they rarely had their pants pulled off of them at home.

Indeed. The defense looks pretty good. My concern isn’t with the defense.
