That Josh Adams is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite Cowboys! I didn't get to follow his other seasons as closely as some of you guys on this board so I wasn't as completely taken by him as some of you, but I caught a ton of Pokes games this year. This dude just keeps impressing me with his game and has such SICK style points! Those no look passes, the DUNKS, the steals, the tatts, and the attitude all just is so so awesome. I guess I better just throw him in my favorite greenies of all time list ahahah. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Right next to Riley "silent splash" Grabau. TEAM player too!!! He's been one of my favorites since his freshman year. Against CU when he stole that pass and raced down and jammed I knew we had a good one on our hands. I had never seen a freshman play like that...He is incredible

I've said for most of the season that I feel Adams is the best player on this team. That's why I'm not seeing us hit rock bottom next year like others think.

I am going to say something that may piss some people off, I think he's more important to our team this year than Larry Nance Jr. I think Josh will have a better career than LNJr. as well. Flame party in 3....2....1....

You are arguing comparisons on players that are 100% different from each other. I'm arguing that with Nance & Adams we could have gone 30-3 but with just one of them, either of them we had no chance of that. They make the team better and each other better but they can't be compared like that.

My argument is that Adams' offensive abilities are more important to the team than Nance's are. People always argue here to sit Nance's butt down in the post, but that's just not a major part of the offense. Nance's biggest contribution to the team is on defense. Everything else is gravy.

However, the offense does rely on dribble penetration to create openings for cutting bigs and spot-up shooters. That's why I think Adams is so important to the team. No one else can do what he does.

You are right. They compliment each other very well. However, I'm arguing Larry is more irreplaceable than Josh. It would be easier to replace (which isn't possible, but for the sake of argument) what Josh does offensively and defensively than what Larry does.
