Hunter Thompson

Nothing like some good hear say. I hope this is true. I love having a Wyo kid in the lineup. It always brings out the state pride to drive up big crowds in Laramie. This dude could try to rival Bailey as our last greatest WYO WYO COWBOY. Shout out to Jason MCMan btw. That dude was pretty clutch for us.

Wait........would we have a future WYO to WYO lineup???? When's the last time a significant Wyoming team had 2 Wyoming starters???? SHIT that would be AWESOME!!!!

Damn you Shyatt and your awesome teams that help spark my imagination! Can't wait to see this years team and the future is just always brighter then its ever been in my adult lifetime. Hunter Thompson was a great writer.

Are you referring to Cody Kelley to Thompson? Because Thompson is only a junior right now, as is McManimal; barring a medical waiver they would never play together.

I was thinking J McMan....Damn is this true? Well gotta keep dreaming then. Thanks for the fact check :thumb: Wyoming just has trouble producing D-1 talent in a 4 year span doesn't it? Our current direction means you have to be a real WYO badass to make the team too

Should hear something by the end of the week.
Haha I remember that  wasn't that posted on a Friday as well? Which was the end of the week...

But if there was ever a time Mr. Large was right, please God let this be it!!

If I recall correctly, when Craig Shanor from Cheyenne played at UW there was one more starter from Wyoming long with Craig and maybe a 3rd in the early 70s. Something makes me recall a starting big line all from Wyoming?

I believe Kenneth Ollie was from Saratoga. There was another big kid that was from Cheyenne and played at the end of the Field House era - was it Summers? There was also a kid from Laramie that was on the team in the mid/late 80s, but didn't get to play much - can't remember his name.

Rod Tyson

Brian Rewers from Thermopolis (played against him in high school)
Scott Powers from Sheridan (same thing)
Brad Enzi from Gillette
Rob Watsabaugh from Jackson
Aaron Tyser from my alumni Buffalo
Steve Gosar from Pinedale
cant remember his 1st name Platt from Kelly Walsh

the rest are escaping me at the moment, these are who I remember off the top

I'm going to spell his last name wrong, but the guy from Laramie who played in the early to mid 80's was Bruce Rorkassie.

Now that I think of it, Bruce's last year may have been the 79-80 season.
