Howard

Looks like our game plan has reverted to the pre-Ike days; give Maldo the ball and get out of the way

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for being kind enough to follow my post. Have a great night! So glad we won. Like they say its a marathon not a sprint. I look forward to learning more hoops from all the experts here. Our board karma and energy helped today. :)

Stay Blessed...

Watched the 2nd half and to overcome a 6 pt deficit at half, Maldo truly a stud in 2nd half, BUT, these supporting cast need to want to be a part of it and come up with big plays too. Is there a thing as too much depth??? Good win, much needed Pokes!!! Maldo for Prez, lol

Bring on Drake on Sunday

Maldo and Anderson two-man game was the difference. Very reminiscent of the Maldo/Ike two man game. Was hoping for more from others but I'll take it.

Sorry to say, but we are not a even a good team without Ike. We lack an inside presence so bad it’s not funny. Hope the others can get up to speed so we can hit the ground running when Ike comes back. Think we can be good with Ike. Kyman should be our big man. He’s literally our only player with any girth (other than Anderson).

We miss Jeffries and his threes and rebounding

This is better than the shit offense we were trying to run. Or should I say a complete lack of an offense.

I mean we out scored them by 13 in the second half doing this

Stat of the game is we were out rebounded 12 to 2 on the offensive glass. This is the reason it wasn’t a blowout. We shot 61% to their 45 and only won by 7. Not great

Well, it's good to know Maldo can still take the game on his shoulders for us. Credit to Linder for going back to ol reliable I guess. Pretty concerning that we had to go there to beat Howard. We know it won't be enough to beat tournament-caliber teams.

I liked the defensive improvement in the second half. The shift to a smaller line-up turned that game around.
