How Would the 2013 Wyoming Football Team Finish?

Against this weak tit schedule? I would argue 15 - 0, especially if we play Kansas State like we played Nebraska.

Kansas State
Ferris State
Delaware State
South Dakota State
Northern Iowa
Missouri State
Southern Illinois
Indiana State
Illinois State
Youngstown State
South Dakota
Furman
Coastal Carolina
New Hampshire
Towson

No way we win 15 straight...especially with DC at the helm. That guy could mess up a wet dream.

I agree....15-0 k-state could have beaten us but after that smooth sailing even with CDC.

Are we talking the same team that got rolled by Texas State, Fresno, CSU, Boise and USU and eeked out wins vs New Mexico and Hawaii?

Yeah, I dont think we reel off 15 straight.

oh my...........just waiting for the new accounts to be started and checking the responses throughout the day........... :popcorn:

How would the 2013 NDSU team finish against:
@Nebraska
Idaho
Northern Colorado
@AFA
@Texas State
New Mexico
CSU
@Boise State
Fresno State
@SJSU
Hawaii
@USU

I bet they would have won 6 at least- Idaho, NC, AFA, Texas State, New Mexico and Hawaii for sure and maybe CSU, SJSU.

8 win team?

NDSU had some close encounters on the way too....Northern Iowa, Missouri State, Illinois State. Doubt Poke fans would have taken kindly to anything but blowouts over those teams.

Kansas State - L
Ferris State - (W but can't schedule because a D2 team)
Delaware State - W
South Dakota State - W (probably a real close game)
Northern Iowa - L
Missouri State - W
Southern Illinois - W
Indiana State - W
Illinois State - W
Youngstown State - W
South Dakota - L (Joe Glenn would have found a way to pull off the upset)
Furman - W (close wiin similar to our last game vs Furman)
Coastal Carolina - L
New Hampshire - L
Towson - L

9 - 6

I agree with 6, at the most. Idaho, No. Colorado, AFA (maybe), New Mexico, SJSU (maybe), Hawaii

People are kidding themselves if they dont think there are about 10-15 FCS teams that were better teams than Wyoming last year.

-We got dominated in the trenches against Texas State, who lost to such powerhouses as: Louisianna-Lafayette, Louisianna-Monroe, Arkansas State, Western Kentucky and Troy.

-New Mexico lost to UTSA at home (a program in its first year in FCS). Yes, the same New Mexico team that almost knocked off Wyoming at home.

-Hawaii (arguably the worst team in FBS) put up 56 in an OT loss.

I'd pick 8 wins and I don't believe NDSU would have been blown out in any of the losses.

USU without Keeton, NDSU would have beat them. Let's be honest our program had zero consistency and NDSU was all about being consistent. I don't think Nebraska would have put 37 points up on the NDSU defense.

Remember at the beginning of the year we actually thought Wyoming had a strong defense. We were all fooling ourselves our defense was awful and our HC wouldn't' have known a half time adjustment if it kicked him in the face.

DC had his pros and cons...one of those cons? Inconsistency. You just never knew what was coming...the Nebraska/Air Force Cowboys....or the Texas State/Colorado State Cowboys? Looked solid on defense in September, but gave up 56 to 0-11 Hawaii in November. Made big wins feel good, shocking losses painful.

What big wins? DC was actually very consistent. DC usually beat real crappy teams (except Cal Poly, Texas State, etc..) and absolutely always got beat by all decent teams. DC always took a knee or let the clock run if under 2 minutes in the half. DC never made 2nd half adjustments. DC was always the first to throw the players under the bus rather than himself. In fact, I would call DC the most consistent coach I have ever seen.

USU had a top 10 defense. They would have shut NDSU down easily.
