What is your guess? Very interesting rumors floating around the water cooler right now.
What kind of rumors are you hearing?

I was told there was quite a "Fuck You!" conversation Sunday on campus. Yet, Tom was specifically directed (by the gang of douche) to do NOTHING until the season is over.

Water cooler talk - but somewhat believable...

DC isn't going to let Burman fire him, if you know what I mean. DC has owned Burman since day one - and run all over him and the AD staff. That hasn't changed. The two appear to be on the same sinking ship.

Yeah but was it DC telling Burman fuck you or both telling the BOT fuck you? I'm confused on where it was directed. How do you not let someone fire you? It's not like they are launching nukes. It doesn't take both parties to turn their key.

let us speculate like crazy and start a rumor

"Ummmm...yeah, Dave. Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"F$%^ you! Nice ethics man!"

"Whoa, wait, how come you are going Howdy Doody on me?"

"No, I would be scared to death of i had a $%#^&er like you defending me."

"Wait, seriously Dave, you've lost it"

"Go get in your F%#^ing locker room flyboy! WOOOOOO!"

Wow, that made no sense at all.

Still respect that man for that.....I'm sure his players loved it as well.......where is that fire now? :coffee:

Interesting stuff McPeachy. This debacle could get even uglier with no leadership at President. Respect my authoritay! Fuck your authoritay! Looks like the BOT gets to make the decision. Oh how fun.

Wyoming loses to Hawaii, DC is fired on the spot, Lane Kiffin style. That's my prediction.
lol See, but Kiffin's a pussy. If Burman got on the team bus and tried to call DC off of it, that bus would tip over in a 50-man enclosed brawl.

If we lose to Hawaii, the BOT's going to feel some heat to do something sooner rather than later. Governance of the University is beginning to spin out of control. It would be an opportunity for the BOT to re-assert authority and get some semblance of control over the whole thing.

The BOT might be doing this right by giving Christensen ample opportunity to screw up and get fired for cause.

With the total nuclear meltdown of this football program over the last several weeks, with zero in the way of light at the end of the tunnel, I just cannot see any way that the administration at UW can sell the football ticket buying public on another season of Christensen.

This season has been a nightmare beyond the pale of what anyone could have forecast - and although I believe that DC did the best job possible and exhausted all avenues to try and reach a level of consistent success, the results have unfortunately failed to materialize.

Let me make one thing clear. This season is done and over with.

There is no 'salvaging the season.'

The state's highest paid employee has not been able to develop a sustained winning environment during the five (5) years he's been on the job.

His job is to win football games.

He didn't win nearly enough.

Let him finish out the last two games, then do the right thing and then relieve him of his duties on Monday December 2.

For my money, Craig Bohl is the logical successor -- if UW can convince him to come to Laramie.

Bohl's ability to recruit the upper midwest states has been more than impressive, and if he can show the same success in getting kids to come to Wyoming that he has shown in getting kids to go to Fargo -- then I like his chances of doing very well at UW,

Question is.....is he crazy enough to want to work in Laramie?

The thing to consider about ND State is they probably have lower admissions standards. And, maybe this is something UW should look into. Don't accept crappy students...unless they are good football players.

I like Bohn and think we NEED to go after a named coach not an up and coming OC or DC. WE need a head coach.
