Not much, sad to say. His signing bonus was $269,000. So he made that, plus his base guarantee of $122,000. I think, but don't know, that the base guarantee is paid out over the 17 weeks of the season.
So, as of today he's probably made about $300,000 over the course of his NFL career to this point, including his bonus. By the end of this year he will earn something in the neighborhood of $400,000 counting his guaranteed base and his bonus. Minus 6% for Georgia income tax ($24,000). Minus another $7,000 for Atlanta income tax. Minus extra state income taxes for any away games in income tax states that Atlanta plays (probably another $10,000). Minus about 35% to Uncle Sam ($140,000). Minus another 3% to his agent off the top ($12,000). Minus 25% from his bonus for the federal supplemental rate (about $54,000).
So, before he's bought a beer or a house or a car, he'll probably cash something in the neighborhood of $152,000 this year.
