I see where we have lost 3 olineman who left or were kicked off the team after spring ball. I think 2 were penciled in to be possible starters. The Juco kid was going to start based on the spring. But he quit football all together. The kid from Georgia was very promising, but he was kicked off the team. The kid from Omaha was promising, but he wants to sit the bench in Lincoln for the rest of his career.
How many lineman should a FBS team carry on scholarship and how many do we have? On another board a poster was saying that DC did not recruit Oline this year, but seems we did and lost three, but how short are we and how bad did the loss of those 3 really hurt our numbers? Should we have 15? what is a good number to have?
