How many CJC member sold out?

So the official estimates were 35% of the stadium in red. The means about 11,500 or so neb fans. So Neb received an allotment of 4K, maybe purchased an extra 1K in season tickets (a generous estimate), maybe picked up an extra 1K off students, also generous, which means roughly 4-5K of the Neb fans got their tickets through the CJC club members looking for a quick buck.

Disgusting.

My thoughts exactly. Some red in the student section, but they got overwhelmed by the gold there (honestly thought that some fights might break out there).

That game gave me a distinct feeling - Nebraska fan first, Wyoming fan second. I talked to alot of poke fans wearing red.

I think there were a a couple of thousand fans in attendance that you would normally see in Brown and Gold.

Shame on UW fans that sold out. I guess that just shows you how loyal our fanbase is. It was embarrassing to say the least.

Guarantee you this though, UW doesn't give a shit. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

You sound as dense as Raydio.

If UW was in it just for the $, they'd have done the following first:
A. Moved the game to Lincoln -- easily would have made a couple extra million $.
B. Move the game to Denver -- 65k Nebraska fans and a few Poke fans. At least an extra million $.
C. Instead of the priority, they'd have just done normal ticket sales for $150 each. Would have sold
out to nearly all Nebraska fans and made a million $ more.

I took my normal crowd plus purchased 5 tickets for my Nebraska loving family from Omaha -- sit on it and spin if you think that's selling out. Only two of them have ever been to a Wyoming game and that was years ago. While in Laramie, they bought up more brown and gold crap than I own and want to come back for another game next year. That's good for Laramie, good for UW, and good for the football program.

Would you have rather had Bowling Green visit with 30 fans buying nothing and never returning again?

I have to begrudgingly admit that you make perfect sense. Pulling in 10,000+ out-of-state people who spend lots of money in Laramie is a good thing for the town.

Who is Raydio?

I would rather have Texas fans help fill the War. And many other schools, where we wouldn't witness the great sell-out we did Saturday. Plain and simple...that is what I saw. My opinion.

If UW gave a shit (and Laramie for that matter) do you think they should have / could have provided a better game experience for those terrific visitors? Maybe you missed it, but obviously UW wasn't ready...with the overflowing shithouses, and garbage everywhere. UW could have stepped up, and spent some $$ to avoid all of that. But again, UW doesn't give a shit. It is all about the $$$.

Invesco may have indeed been a better option.

I actually thought the UNL-Wyo fan % was right about where I thought it would be. A lot of Husker fans I know honestly thought that it would be 80-90% red. Outrageous. I'm eager to give them some $hit for their blind/foolish allegiance and the $30 they owe me for giving me Wyo +30.

a guy from work went to the game, from nebraska but works in Wyo for the last 10 years. Neb fan first, UW second. He hates Martinez.
