How did you land Coach Bohl?

Hi. I am curious how he came to be at Wyoming. I was bummed that he left the Bison, but it's a fantastic hire for you all. The man will do great things at Laramie. He has to have been on the hire lists of many teams. I am curious. Anyone know? Thanks.

I am really surprised Nebraska wasn't on him... Why he left ND State? For one thing I think his base pay is about 3 times as much...with potential to earn 5x as much.

What more could he prove at ND State?

We offered him a contract to coach in the FBS in the great state of Wyoming.

I'll summarize for you.

After beating KSU last year, he knew that if they won a third title there was really nothing left for him to accomplish at NDSU. However, he wasn't going to go to just any school, it had to be somewhere where the fit was right culturally and where his system could be successful. Wyoming was one of those schools where the fit was right.
