How did the team look in the scrimmage on Sat?

I thought they looked REALLY impressive. Was very impressed with Naughton, Moemeka, and Aka Gorski. Naughton will contribute this season. He's a monster. Barnes also looked much more polished.

Do you see Naughton or Barnes starting? Or will we need to rely on herndon to play as our 5 and go smaller at the 4?

I could see Barnes. I'm not expecting either of them but would not be shocked either. Barnes looked much improved and Naughton looked ready for minutes.
 
From what I have heard of Barnes, he's like a bigger and more powerful version of Cooke, right? Great on defense, limited on offense? Or did he get that figured out?

Definitely not as bouncy
 
Barnes seems like a legit NBA Big man.

Dude is almost 7' and strong as hell.

We need him to get some offensive touch.

I think Naughton is the one who looks like the best NBA big man. He's crazy big as a freshman and got some bounce. But Barnes looked like he has been working on his shot which is a big positive. I thought Gorski looked good. He can flat out shoot it. He'll have some big games just because he gets in a rhythm and can shoot. Dalton thought it would be a good idea to try and dunk on Moemka and that didn't end well. The only bummer was that James didn't play. Looking forward to him this year.
 
I was at the scrimmage on Saturday and hope to have a blog ready Tue or Wed with a few of my thoughts.
