How devin moore stacks up

if devin moore would have participated in the combine here is how is numbers would have stacked up compared to other running backs. I am using the numbers he used in his pro day in Indianapolis.

40yd dash- 4.41 would have been fastest rb at combine
Vertical Jump- 35 inches the highest at the combine was 41.5 he was not in the top 11
Bench Press- 27 reps- would have been tied for the 4th highest
Short Shuttle- 4.22- tied for 7th at the combine
3 cone drill- 7.14 highest at combine was 6.82 D-Mo was not in the top ten in this

I think its a shame he did not get invited because he would have done very well.

It is a shame he didn't get invited, I agree. And I think part of the blame for not being invited is Joe Glenns fault...whether they were employed or not, they should have done a better job taking care of their own kids. That and if D-Mo wasn't wasted his FR and SO years...gotta wonder where he would have ended up.

He will be drafted anyway...probably 6th or 7th round.

I think fumbling at the Texas v. the Nation game hurt him in not getting invited to the combine as well. He should get drafted in the late rounds, D-Mo will get his chance but he will have to prove himself as a return man and special teams player.

Solid point...and I am sure every NFL scout looked at that fumble, and then pulled his career fumble stats. He was, after all, part of the mind-humping willy cockmaster and his fumbling ways.

Even if that's the case...the fumble still hurt his stock, especially when you look at his stats and he does appear to put the ball on the ground a bit too often. Should he been at the combine, yes, did getting hosed on a invite hurt his salary for next year, probably. But he is still going to get his chance to prove himself to an NFL team, that's more than a lot of guys that have played D-1 football can say.
