Holy crap batman, tickets are flying. This is going to be a great crowd.

I think the difference is this is the first mountain west championship game in Laramie and first time sniffing a conference title in almost 20 years. Most of our college students were in diapers the last time we were competing for the conference title.

So that brings fair weather fans out of the woodwork and fans traveling from out of state to see history.

I just counted up the available seats online and it was approximately 4,000 tickets left, not including what CJC will turn back. So, for what it's worth, things are looking pretty good.

I don't make it to many games from SLC. It has been 15 years since driving across I-80 consistently. How long does it take to usually clear the roads? Supposed to snow the next few days then just be cold. Wondering if any of you had any insight.

Should be ASAP.

I searched through the code and associated files on that page. There has to be a table that the map references but I couldn't find it. Would be much easier than counting ha.

Slow work day :D ..... it was a guess. Rows times seats.

Got my plane and game tickets, wouldn't miss it! Hotel on the other hand I'm shit out of luck. Staying in Cheyenne. The only room left in town is at the Days Inn for $400 which I won't do out of principal

If they are charging that much for a hotel room, they sure as hell better donate a few bucks to UW for bringing in that kind of demand.

I'd wait and see how it looks Wednesday before jumping to too big of conclusions. I know junky has a personal vendetta with SDSU on the MW board re: attendence and it sure would be nice to get more than them in December in LARAMIE Wyoming, but if we're really thinking we're getting above 20K into the 25K territory that begs the question of how did we only manage 19K 2 weeks ago for a very similar matchup with all season ticket holders locked in and better weather. We'll see. I've been disappointed one too many times in Wyo attendence .

I wouldn't really call it a personal vendetta, more of a direct response to SDSU's newfound arrogance, their repeated claims that mountain schools are holding them back, and their tendency to lie about their attendance by a factor of 2. Before they became all cocky, I hardly noticed they were there.

I just like to remind them when the 42,938 reported attendance figure is actually 18,432, which happens more often then not.

It would be great if Wyoming could drop 5000 more asses in the seats than SDSU did for the only game in recent years that they haven't been able to lie about: the 2015 MWC championship game. It won't shut them up entirely, but it would be a great little nugget to smack them over their heads with every time they brag about leading the MWC in attendance, with 50,000 empty seats in their stadium for every home game.

Went to a UW SDSU game in 2007 and you sit soooo far from the action at that old dump that is Qualcomm Stadium, I didn't have a good time at all, if it's poinsettia bowl I don't think i'll make that trip, + it's a weekday

I'll be there with a group of 8 including a Boise fan and Utes fan that will both be sporting Cowboys gear. I expect to be around 25k!

I'm making the same trek and we are planning on leaving at 5am on Saturday. Trying to catch the basketball game as well.

It's only Monday, but we might be on pace for a sell-out.

We'll see how many seats the season ticket holders return, but they've already been returning them since the game tickets went on sale. I imagine, by Tuesday 5:30, there aren't going to be many left to return.

The entire east side is sold-out with the exception of single seats here and there and a handful of seats in the corner. The West lower is sold-out, and the the inner three sections of the upper west is sold-out.

Wow, this might actually be the biggest crowd we've had all season.

This game will sell out. People that have never been to a game or only go every couple years are clamoring to go. This is way past the hardcores and peaking Interest in the most casual fans.

And it should be he biggest crowd! It's the fucking conference championship!

everybody, try not to get too indignant when the people around you are saying things like "who's number 5? he's pretty good"

just be happy that interest is growing

If we sold out the pre-renovated AA for a women's basketball game then I like our chances of selling out this one, too. Tix are moving fast!

That women's game was one of the highlights of my UW fandom lol. Super fun.

Which number 5 are you referring to?? It is easy to get confused with 'number 5' on Wyoming lol

I actually felt bad for number 5 against New Mexico. Josh Allen hit him with a bullet when he wasn't paying attention on the sideline.
