NORTH DAKOTA AT WYOMING

— Coach: Bubba Schweigert
— Last season: 5-7
— Offense: Pro-style
— Defense: 3-4
— Face of the offense: Sophomore quarterback Keaton Studsrud started the final four games of 2014, leading UND to a 2-2 record, including an upset win over FCS No. 22 Northern Arizona. He completed 26 of 75 passes for 276 yards as a true freshman and is tabbed to start again this season.
— Face of the defense: Inside linebacker Will Ratelle led UND in tackles last season with 106, including 5.5 for loss and two sacks. The 5-foot-11, 250-pound senior is the leader of the defense.
— Outlook: Eight starters return on defense for North Dakota, which allowed a Big Sky Conference-low 354.4 yards per game. But its offense is thin — it started fall camp with only two running backs — and inexperienced. In Schweigert’s second season at the helm, UND will simply be shooting for a .500 record.
