In general I have always found BYU fans to be pretty insufferable. They think way too highly of themselves and their program and they also are quite antagonistic about anyone who thinks otherwise. I did not think this also applies to "Da Utes:" but after reading this perhaps there is something in the water in Utah....

I was more supportive of the U of U and the students; they tried to have a contest to impersonate McAfee (who comes off as over the top, too loud and is actually annoying on Gameday now) and the contest seemed totally appropriate. The kids may have been a little over the line, but he should have just rolled with it and laughed it off. Nobody was getting hurt. McAfee is a clown. There's nothing wrong with that. It's an honorable profession with a long history.

But as a clown he should just laugh this stuff off and glide on, collecting his $25MM/year, or whatever the hell it is, and get back to acting like a 40 year old who yearns to once again be a young drunk frat bro.
