Hill and Roullier invited to NFL Combine

I was getting worried about hill. I'm glad he will be able to showcase his talent with the greats of college football. I'm much less concerned about the decision to leave early now.

First time since I've been following the program that I'll be able to watch Wyoming players in the on-field drills (Nzeocha was recovering from injury, only did bench press)

Gentry was a great receiver at Wyoming but I personally think that Maulhardt and Hollister both have a better chance at making it as a pro (at tight end).

Gentry has great hands that he can show off at UW's pro day, but I doubt he could compete with guys at the combine at the various speed drills. He excelled with solid route running, using his body, and great hands skills. He wouldn't really be able to stand out at the combine, imo. I'm still confident he'll get a shot with a team or 2.

He's hardly the biggest snub though. Two time mountain west defensive player of the year kayzee out of San Diego state didn't get an invite either

FWIW, Kayzee did get an invite, according to Sportingnews.com anyway.

Gentry is the perfect "Bill Belichick" type player.

As an update, both Hill and Roullier will do the televised on-field workouts on Friday. The workouts start at around 7 a.m. Mountain time on NFL Network.
