I just want to point out that just because he has an undersized line and slower players, and it works on that level, doesn't mean it will work up here in the MWC.
The talent gap between what he has, and who he is going against probably isn't all that big, while up here, the gap sometimes could be huge.

My guess is that you have no idea about the talent gap between programs at the D2 level. I doubt you have ever seriously watched many if any D2 games.

And the Grand Valley State teams from a few years ago would have been very competitive with FBS Wyoming.

I have watched a lot of D2 football, and the talent gap is massive. Stitt would not be anywhere close to my top 10 in candidates, he must coach at a higher level before he can be a serious candidate.

And you missed the whole talent gap argument. It was the talent gap of elite D2 teams vs other D2 teams compared against the talent gap of MWC teams vs elite FBS teams.

There is a big talent gap at the D2 level (i.e. Oklahoma Panhandle State vs. Northwest Missouri) similarly as to there being a big talent gap at the FBS level (i.e. UNLV vs. Florida State)

Fair enough OP, I would love to see what he can do as a OC at this level, but would be wary about giving him a HC position at this point. I see what you are saying about WYO going after a non-traditional option which may not be a bad idea. I really don't care who is our coach as long as the dude gets us some Ws.

Recently I get so excited for every season only for a huge letdown. It's depressing thinking about the current state of the football program.
