An innovative coach that is able to get the most out of limited talent. There is a reason that numerous top BCS coaches consult with this head coach of a D2 school.
Colorado Mines had about one winning season in the 50 years prior to him becoming Head Coach in 2001 and have only had one season under .500 since. There may be no other school with greater recruiting disadvantages than Colorado Mines, yet every year there they are at the top of the RMAC (finishing 2nd this year to D2's top ranked CSU-Pueblo).
...but, because he is not a big name, he will likely go overlooked again.
This is a fun name.
