When are they gonna break ground on this?

I thought it was supposed to start this summer but not 100% on that. Hopefully this project goes more smooth than phase II of the AA project. Which I am very angry about by the way.

I think the construction plans won't be done for about another month. Then I can see them starting work, so you'll see things like the north scoreboard come down during the season. That's why we had such a rush to get the new awesome south board done.

I was under the impression they aren't starting until after football season

There's been the delays with funding and design changes that have impacted the schedule. Some demo will happen sooner than later, ie the north scoreboard, but the principal construction is starting after the season.
