You both frequent this board with the rest of us Wyoming wackadoos...so lets get on the stick here and get your opinions in your respective newspapers about what you both feel should happen with the Wyoming coaching issue.

We have all been discussing this for weeks and weeks here -- and how refreshing it would be to see both you guys weigh in with a story or two in your papers concerning your own beliefs and ideas concerning this major issue of importance.

Come on now boys, don't be afraid to dip your toes in the waters, because as I'm sure you both know, this is the way that big boy newspapers and big boy newspaper writers do it.

You are beat writers as much as you are opinionaters and or columnists.

You are around the program every day - and in Gagliardi's case for many years.

You owe it to your readership to provide us all with a clue as to your own thinking on this issue.

It would beat the heck out of telling us that the Wyoming defense still has a heck of a long way to go in order to be competitive --- a waste of time read and something we all are very aware of before we even read such a trivial piece.

Be inspired by the late Wyoming President, Robert Sternberg...shake it up boys, rattle some comfort zones, break a few eggs on your way to making some omelettes...

How dare I believe that the Wyoming Football fan base would like those covering the team to forward an actual original opinion sometimes.

As for Nulph - get a clue.

Just a few weeks ago he characterized this team as 'average'.

If Brett Smith scampers 60 yards for a td or throws a 90 yard td pass to Herron, and you let out any kind of emotional yell, other than to cuss out the team or coaches then you are a Sunshine Pumper.

Yup, you got it......I'm just a Buckaroo, I have recently joined this group after retiring from the greatest team that this world has ever known......a team where if the defense doesn't show up people die, a team where if the offense doesn't keep up the pressure people die.....a team where I was responsible for coaching, motivating (where I saw a post from you a while back that stated that motivation wasn't entirely the coaches responsibility) training and all that goes with service makes a difference in whether the men and women that I was responsible for came back only to have to send them out again. There is much more out there than Cowboy football and Wyoming athletics but what a great diversion athletics are for those serving.......so yes you are a "Real Cowboy", a real big shot that because you have a few more posts than I do gives you a different category of posting....I'm truly impressed by that. I have just recently had the time to come on this board and share opinions where as before I only had time to read the recaps......I have kept my season tickets for many years and attended games when I could and have seen some real good teams and some stinkers (2013).....just my opinion of course......I find most of the rhetoric on here amusing.....I get a real kick out of Beaver Poke and you have provided some excellent insight as well.....I really liked the list of potential candidates you put up.......but bottom line I think you are a crybaby that lashes out at anyone who doesn't buy into some of the horse hockey you spew or plays the woe is me card......by the way I was fortunate in that 100% of those I was responsible for made it home to family and friends........get over yourself and put on your big boy panties and try and see things how they really are....enough whining!

That said, I like a winning diversion much better than one that is not.

As for the OP, Check out Gagliardi's Thursday online chat archives on the wyosports.com website. He is also on KFBC in Cheyenne most evenings and I have never thought he was a particularly positive writer--even in the good years. Dave Walsh was always much more optimistic on his KOWB/KCGY "Sports Line Live" show when he was hosting it.
