Herron

He had a couple catches tonight. Not sure why he wasn't more of a factor.

He had 4 catches for 91 yards and one TD.

He had a guy glued to him most of the night too. They knew how fast he was, so they made shutting him down a priority... and he still ended up with almost 100 yards and a TD, plus a couple of great blocks.

He was definitely playing hurt. He got hurt when he blocked that guy on Millers TD. You could see him wincing in the ground in the background as miller was falling into the end zone.they showed him after that play on the sideline wincing and talking to a teammate. Love him though. If he stays healthy hes gonna be a beast in the mwc. Jeez. Rufran!!!claiborne!!! Miller! Wick!!! Both O and D front men!!! Brett!!! Jeez I'm so proud if our men. I feel for them. They really wanted that win and they were so close. This game did some things for us in recruiting.

Yeah, he had a decent game. Plus with their eyes on him it freed up the other guys. When the camera hit him a couple times I saw that he had his arm across his stomach, so I thought it was cramps due to the heat. I didn't see him get hurt on the block. Hopefully minor.

Where was he!? really? 4 catches for 91 yards and a score doesn't warrant a "where was he." Wyoming's offense is really balanced and everyone showed up IMO. Brett does a great job of finding the open guy and spreading the wealth. Rufran IMO has the best hands on the team and when in doubt I think that is where Brett likes to go

Herron was probably the focus of Nebraska's coverage. A true number one WR creates space for other WRs to operate and he does that for Claiborne.

He may have had the highlight of the game on the last TD we scored too. I thought he played great...

I'm not entirely sure he can be called our #1, apart from how he's always a home run threat. Rufran often had double coverage and still held onto the ball pretty much every time.

I agree, He shouldn't be considered the #1 receiver, however he is our deep threat. Because teams have to be aware of his speed they are forced into a coverage like tampa two, one free, or cover 4 that will free up short routes and seams for the possession receivers.
