Herron carted off

Dave Walsh said Herron didn't move at all as he was being put on the stretcher and moved to the ambulance. It didn't look like anything weird, maybe hit his head funny when landing on top of UNLV tackler. Bad scene on the field. Hauck's facial expression said it all though.. it really didn't look good. Get well soon, Robert.. you have immense talent that has yet to be discovered on the field... Go Pokes.

just read that he's likely to be fine, but got a concussion.

At 180 lbs max and being a true freshman, he has absolutely NO BUSINESS being put in the position of having to run inside the tackles! Not only is he not effective (runs too upright, looks intimidated, won't hit hole with authority), but it sets him up for injury when he gets hit by 250 lb LB's running down hill.

Got a Twitter update from CJC saying that he's been released from a Vegas hospital, is okay, and is on his way home. Good to hear.

GREAT POINT! With AA, and Kankalloonngoollooo WTF was Herron doing running up the middle with our less than effective O line?

Because our coaching staff ran off what would have been a SR and 2 JR RB's instead of instilling a want and desire to play for them. Both Kongo and Herron should have gotten a redshirt year to get stronger. I'm to far removed from the program to know exactly what the circumstances were with the 3 player's, but damn 3 in 1 year's time? Is Jason Ray that tough on them? :?:
