Herron #2 WR in NFL Draft?

That really surprises me.

Beaver is that really your website you're just trying to promote?

Yeah I'm not so sure about him being the 2nd best NFL ready receiver in the country. He makes some good catches at times but he also drops some easy ones as well. I am very surprised he is rated that high.

3rd round isn't bad. But his speed is making NFL scouts drool I bet. Legit 4.3 speed with pads and has the ability to outrun most DBs.

Herron reminds me a lot of Heyward-Bey. World class speed but struggles with route running (i.e. getting open) and holding onto the ball.

We did use Herron a bit as an RB. I think he could be a Danny Woodhead type player out of the backfield if he were to make a position change.

If Al Davis were still alive, Herron would go in top 2 rounds no doubt!

They have Huff has the #16 CB.
Hmm...
So, with this potential NFL talent that we have on this team right now, and still struggling to get W's, doesn't that show that you CAN recruit to Wyoming?
And that, you need a coach to translate talent into wins?
I mean, with how good Brett is, how good Rufran is (if Herron is the #2 WR, Rufran should be able to be drafted next season, right?), and with Wicks size and speed, and power, shouldn't he end up being a NFL prospect in a couple seasons?

Herron will play in the NFL, He will make some team and amazing slot receiver and no doubt he will be a special teams return man.

ESPN has him as the #8 WR in the country...Projected as the 8th receiver taken in next years draft....surprising indeed...

Link?
I tried posting it but I'm an espn insider and the link wouldn't work without being an insider... So most on this site wouldn't be able to access it

I opened the link and the first thing I notice is that one of our receivers that transferred, Jonathan Aiken, was listed number two! Then I noticed the list was all players listed alphabetically. Anyway, good to see Slim is still playing.
