Herndon Out

I once thought I had mono- turned out I was just really bored for about six weeks...

By far the best Wyovanian post!!! This has seriously had me cracking up thinking about it off an on during work the last 6 hours...I must lead a boring life.

But on the serious side of it. I hope Herndon recovers quickly. And I think we will be okay with Barnes. He wasn't our best recruit last year for nothing. Just in seeing him in his limited playing time earlier this year, I thought he did decent.

Calling Matt Sellers, swallow your pride ask Papa Shy if he'll, they'll let you come back to be a contributor to the team you deserted, it's ok, why does the snake always seem to bite this team regardless the factor

I'm not sure what you guys saw when S
ellers played.. Sellers was crappy on d and very competent on o. Barnes is quicker and plays just as good of d as Sellers, just don't count on him scoring.

I don't think Barnes is going to play much more than usual, which is nothing. I think much more likely we will end up going 4 wings and one big like we did last year when Nance went out and often Granberry would end up guarding a 4. Shyatt isn't the type of coach to throw a very green freshman into the rotation in the middle of conference season.

I see the rotation shaping up that way as well with Hankerson playing the opposing 4 man when either Nance or Cooke is on the bench.

Shyatt has surprisingly introduced Gorski to the rotation in the middle of conference season, but Gorski has quite a bit more basketball experience (prep school, international play) than someone like Barnes so I don't think Shyatt trusts Barnes in critical moments. Will get some minutes against SJSU though I would guess.

Hank has to truly show up and be a huge factor, afterall it's the last time he'll see the Sheeeep at home, be the ball Hank
