Hell of a season

We deserved this win but didn't get it. We beat the spread yet again and in total we were 6 points away from being conference champs and winning the. Owl game.

After a 2 win season I'm happy with these outcomes and we have room to grow. I really hope we have wide receivers that can step up an fill big shoes and I'm hoping Brian hill is back.

This team has a great nucleus to build around and the pokes could easily be in contention again next season.

I thought we were obviously the better and more talented team

In the first half we were NOT the better nor more TALENTED team.

I don't use this word very often but, "we played like shit" in the first half and in the second half, it was just a matter of time till we did the "Poke Choke".

I mean... I didn't expect to see what I did, but yeah. Sure you have to be able to play in whatever conditions, but it isn't exactly a secret that heavy rain favors the team that doesn't have a passing game.

Also really proud of our defense yesterday. Sure they gave up some big plays, but they always swarmed to the ball, and kept BYU to just 24 points despite the two flukey scores.

So either our young guys in the front 7 (and Wacha) have grown a ton these past few weeks, or BYU really is a pretty terrible offense without Taysom Hill.

We were made completely one dimensional due to the weather and played half of that time without our best player. I think hill makes our offense run and without him out there we didn't have the same offense and without being able to throw the ball we were limited.

To be fair they were also limited they just caught the breaks in the first half.
