Another step back tells me we are going the wrong way......LOL
What did you expect with a third string QB, no Gentry, undersized OL, DL and LBs? Do you have a fix for in experience and being undersized on a week to week basis? Yeah, that's what I thought. It is what it is at this point, but that doesn't mean it won't be better next year because it will.

We are undersized for a reason.......when you recruit small you play small! Hopefully he can get some size in that can actually play. Yes actually I do have an answer.he needs to line his cupboards with a few JC players that can have an immediate impact while his undersized and in experienced recruits are gaining that elusive size and veteran look in their eyes. But that isn't his philosophy. Apparently destroying the program and trying to re-build it in 5 years is. ;)

Going strictly JC does not mean success. I said it in another thread that was all about JCs. You have to remember that all the big school strip the talent level just like HS. When we get a JC guy he's usually no better than an HS guy and we only get two years with him instead of four.

Name our last "best" JC player? Ogbanna? Maybe, and he was an average WR. I've seen several of these Frosh WRs play better than he did.
Hollister? I would say yes. The dude has been a reliable TE. He blocks well and he's been known to break some long ones. And he was recruited by our current coach, Bohl.

Going JC doesn't Neccesarily mean success.

Don't misunderstand me....I think it need to supplement our recruiting until we can get a stable of true HS recruits developed and ready to play. I am not advocating that we go exclusively that route.

I would be all for a JC middle LB that can play and two or three JC LBs that can play. You are correct about getting a few JCs a year to supplement.
