Georgia does have a rushing defense. Not much on passing though.

True but like many teams that play us, they don't think we can run the ball. We'll pass almost every down but we'll catch 'em napping w/ some draw and trap run plays and shuffle pass plays.

That how you guys beat Washington after a horrible 1st qtr.

Yup. Our running game and screen game killed UDub. It was evident Hawaii was just not used to the size of the athletes UDub had. Once Hawaii adjusted, we dominated the game. I think the adversity we experienced in that game will only help us in this game. We'll need to use that to keep the big, UGA d-line honest.

I have to admit the Huskies were fast! They were far better than the 4-8 mark they had coming into that game at Aloha Stadium.

Agreed. Everyone keeps telling me how terrible that UDub team was and I keep telling them that team could easily be 8-4. All their losses were close. They led Ohio State at halftime and could have very easily beat USC! They have a very young team. I expect them to be the most improved team in the Pac-10 next season. Wouldn't be suprised if they win 9-10 games.

I agree. Some people over here on the islands must be smoking stuff. Either they don't know much about college football or they have something against the University. Everyone that knows me knows I'm a huge UH fan and supporter but some people always have negative things to say about the football team, which is rediculous. Just because a team has a bad record doesn't mean they're automatically a bad f-ball team. There are a lot of teams w/ mediocre and bad records that play in tough conferences that are good. IMO, the PAC-10 is as good as any conference in America, thus why teams at the bottom of that conference like UDub and Arizona aren't as bad as their record indicates. I bet if UDub was in the WAC, they'd finish 2nd or 3rd (if they played BSU again I think BSU would win) right behind us.
As for UW, I agree. In fact, I don't think I could watch a 2nd half of a UW game because it would bring back some bad memories of the mid-90's of UH football. :x

Since Glenn started coaching us we'd have a great first 5 games of a season then, BAM....we become the CFB version of the Bad News Bears.

I think Glenn got rid of the problem. If the same trend happens now that Cockhill is gone, look out...

Glenn had BETTER hope he got rid of the problem or he's going to be unemployed!

Now that's the understatement of the century. The problems should be over. You got another OC installing a good offense. Plus ya'll got a commit from a solid QB. I wonder if he'll start over Karsten as a freshman?
As for the Warriors, we're counting down the days to the Sugar Bowl. No one is giving us a chance but I know what we're capable of. We are the team of destiny. We refuse to lose. Georgia thinks we're a joke and that they'll handle us easily. They got another thing comin'!

You were right.

That made the 1988 Holiday Bowl massacre and 1993 Copper Bowl wipeout look like close games. THAT was horrible! Hawaii wipped out everything Boise built up.

Plus a buddy of mine from Hawaii who started Sports Hawaii message board is out $1,000. He made the bet in Vegas 2 weeks ago.

He made a $1000 bet on this game?? Jesus, in the ESPN.com pick'em challenge I gave this game a #6 rating because I took Hawaii but didn't want to lose a lot with the pick.. insanity!

After watching that game, I can see why all the Hawaii guys have gone silent. Not much to say after a beating like that. Anybody else screaming for a playoff system after all the blowouts in the BCS games this season? Who wouldn't want to see Georgia, USC, West Virginia, and the winner of tonights game advance on to play each other?

Hey be nice those Hawaii fans are my friends.

My $0.02...

Hawaii was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Georgia was pissed that they were # 3 in the nation prior to the BCS Selections and they thought that since the top 2 screwed up royally (UWV and Mizzu), the Dogs naturally thought they were going to the BCS Title game since they didn't lose their final game and was ranked # 3 but, LSU and theOSU got to go. UGA got upset by it.

NO ONE could've beaten UGA that night. NO ONE!!!!!!!!

BTW, UGA didn't deserve to go to the BCS title game anyway since they couldn't even win their own division title. But, because they were ranked # 3 when the top 2 screwed up......

That was a tough game to watch, the 2 tackles on the O-Line have been our Achilles heel all year. Like Jason Rivers said, the holes were there, we were getting to their secondary, Colt just had no time what so ever. I hope in the future the offensive line apologizes to the community of Oahu and their team, cause they failed everyone including themselves.

This was an awesome season though, its not like we got blown out by a mediocre school we played the 2nd best team in the country(Nobody is better then USC) in their country. It would have been a very different game if we had better tackles. But thats how the game goes.

My friends here in Washington have been giving me trouble about this, but in the end I can look at most fans and say "So...Where is your team at?" "You think you can take us on?" And few can say without a biased opinion yes. I will let my Husky friends and my BSU bronco fans know that all year. 8-)

Florida here we come!!! Go Warriors!! 2008!

J-Rod. Hawaii and their fans should be proud of themselves. From the way Georgia played, they were out for blood thinking they should've been in the BCS Title game not LSU or Ohio State.

In my humble opinion, even with the loss I still say you are CHAMPIONS!

GO POKES AND GO WARRIORS!!!
