hawaii to MWC football only?

I'm totally against this move.
 
If true, wouldn't this require a change in the MWC bylaws? I'm pretty sure that the bylaws state that a university cannot join for one sport only, and must join for all sports. Is that incorrect? If the bylaw had changed, surely we would have heard about it.

Plus, wasn't getting away from Hawaii one of the reasons the MWC was formed in the first place? This is a ridiculous move if there's any truth to it at all.

I think it would be a bad move if they joined for all sports (would suck to have to pay for non revenue sports to travel to hawaii). Not sure what to think about it, but maybe this is insurance in case TCU leaves (hawaii comes to mwc is the nail in the coffin for the wac).
 
The guys on Sports Hawaii are going crazy happy about this.

Here the breakdown...

Hawaii football will be in the MWC
ALL of Hawaii's other sports will go to the Big West.

I think was done to keep TCU in.
