We need to stop going Power I on 3rd and short so much. Everyone overloads the box on us. Even if we do play action, so many defenders are coming, they're right in Williams' face as soon as he turns around.

Maybe try read option. Would suck the over pursuing players in and allow us for a first down.

Levi passed the ball forward and the review showed it was an incomplete forward pass and not a fumble, so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here.

levi was in control while he pushed if forward and Hawaii was not. I think its pretty obvious that's the point I was making and one you seem to not quite understand. its not whether or not the ball goes forward. you'll get it. let me know when you do

In the power I? Er, probably not. Already keying in on the run. Force the defense to spread out by doing quick outside passes from the I, and THEN look for the power run and play actions.

Why are you even talking about Hawaii's play where I had no problem with the ruling? My post was specifically about Levi's forward pass that was ruled not a fumble. I'm not sure why you're trying to create arguments where there is none, but whatever floats your boat, I suppose.

Urgh, we can't afford injuries on the D-Line.

I wish we had kept mixing in the quick outs to our TEs. The fumble play really wasn't a bad play call - we just missed picking up the corner blitz.

I almost started a thread about this. I hope they feel a little pang down in their stomach while they watch their teammates play without them. It’s their choice just as it is to quit the team as well. I just hope they’re feeling that in the pit of their stomach.
 
the problem is that we haven’t made them pay for all the run blitzes. They call them at great times and the things we’ve run have been into the teeth of it or the PA gets blown up.

We’re moving the ball well but when they’ve gambled to put their foot down, they’ve come up with the stop. Now we’re one possession away from being down in this game.
