Wyoming's official athletic site list the War as having 29,181 seats. Before the addition of the Wildcatter Suites and the elimination of endzone seating it may have held 34,000.

IMHO....they should have built the suites to be the full width of the upper stands.....i see no point ih keeping that last 15ft of bleachers on either side of them

Just a guess, but maybe it had something to do with the structural design of the existing stadium and what it could/could not support. I'm no engineer, just throwing it out there.
