HAVE WE REACHED ROCK BOTTOM?

In answer to the question: Rock bottom occurs when the stands are empty and no one cares anymore. Just down the road in Boulder, they got rid of Embree after 2 seasons not just because the team was bad, but they had a few home games that made our late November stands look full.

We'll see how patient the fans are with this team soon enough. It's one thing to talk about the time it takes to rebuild a program and quite another to support it while the product on the field is nearly unwatchable.

Are you fucking serious? EMU hadn't won an OOC road game since 1988.
 
I was optomistic about bohls hire. Today I defenitly have question marks. I will give him that this is basicly year 1 because of all the seniors on last years team so he's basically starting over. That said I saw so many times today the defense lost not knowing where to go on the field. What have they been learning all year? Bohl has had what appears to be good recruiting classes and josh allen sure did look good but if the team continues to look lost on the field I might now have as much optomisem as I had at the beginning of the hiring.
 
At best, this is a rebuilding year. At worst, the title of the thread is appropriate.

The defense is bad, no doubt. I hope playing all those freshmen pays off. It sure made a miserable drive back to Fort Fun... dodging wildfires north of Wellington...even worse.
 
Take the injury away and we win this game, Allen was moving the ball and the team it's not Bohls fault Allen tried to shoulder block a planted safety instead of sliding. With a passing game the score is completely different now I'm not saying we wouldn't have let them score 48 but we could have kept with them scoring.

Agreed....it just that it proves last game wasn't a fluke. Saw they barely beat Drake.....awful

I just read they had seven giveaways to Drake. They were lucky to win.

I still think Bohl needs at least four, if not five years. Games like this make it tough to keep the faith.
 
its like a bad run at the blackjack table hoping for the "shoe" to end, then shuffle up & take another shot........... in 2016. :(
