OK.. first .. Coaching.. Love Shy but dude needs to do something a "bit" different.. Im ok with the slow down bla bla bla thing.. I have been saying this for a LONG time.. Run an Offense to CREATE a shot.. not just run time off.. IF there is a shot LET THEM fire away if not keep running the offense until later in the shot clock.. at SMU we passed up shots with 10-17 sec left in the shot clock in order to run more time off.. which resulted in shot clock violations or something just about as bad (TO/bad shot)
2nd ok Nance.. love watching ya an all but get the crap down to where you should be (that's means no more 3 point line).. NO MORE standing and "weaving" at the 3 point line... good things come when you are down where you belong (many many times down you don't even touch the paint.. screw that the paint IS YOURS.. you own it.... Also the ball needs to go through you but you don't HAVE to shoot it.. I noticed last night he became a black hole.. That's not what we were like a few weeks ago.. (im sure hes feeling the pressure and wants to hit the big one).. but go in.. then back out then back in.. through you but not every time you
3rd... Adams... whats up buddy.. you can burn the crap out of anyone one on this planet... Is coach holding you back from that????.. "to weave"... and don't force your shot either.. (you have had some crappppy shot selection to).. but when you drive GOOOOOOOD things will happen.. usually a dunk by cooke/you/nance.. WE HAVE to have that
4th... TO's.. that's not shy ball.. I think its because D's know lets pressure harder because they are not going to "burn" us.. cuz they "weave".. so then with 5 sec left in the shot clock the D is WAY in our face and we Turn it over or take a shot clock violation...
5th.. Hank Hank Hank..We got to have you drive as well but the Offensive fouls hurt.. bit more control and dish a bit sooner to stay out of the O foul problems.. seems like you don't weave as long as some of the others... ???
6th.. Gbo when your "set" your shot is on fire.. when you come off picks rolling and fading away you ALWAYS shoot short..
Come on guys you guys can be the best team we have in umm forever.. please give us a NCAA game.. you crushing us die hard fans..
