Hats off to the defense

They played great. Awesome gameplan by the coaches and excellent execution by the players.

Javaree Jackson played great. He was a force in the middle all night long. Mario Mora made a couple great plays. The DBs covered well most of the game. Azizi Hearn played a nice game. Cash and Logan were stout.

Makes me sick to waste such a good performance on the road. :|

Good game, just couldn't get a stop when we needed it. Same thing in all 3 losses.

Dickert is a gem. We had the right blitz dialed up several times last night and we punished their QB. The D-line is the most underappreciated unit on this team. Logan Wilson all over the field again.

D-line doesn't have the most consistent pass rush right now, but they otherwise hold their own. Often very much undersized compared to the o-linemen they go up against. Oddly enough, they are very good at gap control and stopping the run. Usually, at least.

It's encouraging the defense is playing well. They are showing they can play at a high level and in big games. Another chance for them this week on the road. I hope they hold up!
