Has anyone seen Adam Pittser throw the ball yet?

Some of you guys have to be on campus. Has anyone got a look at Pittser yet? I think we have the makings of an epic qb battle this fall.

Whatever does happen in the QB battle, I hope CDC and company handle it well. By that I mean lets not have a short leash on either one and pull them out after a bad series or a bad play. We're going into the season with two freshman QB's I'm guessing we'll see some sort of a platoon situation. Hopefully it works out and the psychy of the young men can handle how it plays out.

those were the most frustrating games i've ever watched :brick:

What nobody liked the Struztiem, Crum, Hendricks, and Sween rotation?

I was watching the UVA vs UW game last night and was laughing my ass off for the high praise the announcers from VS. were giving Sween and how he was going to be QB of the future and as soon as they said something, Sween throws one of his patented twirl and throw off the back foot into traffic and hope it doesn't get picked, play resulted in an incomplete pass. Very next play pick. Speaking of that game, DMO was one badass sonna bitch, wish he still had a year of eligibility. Damn he was fast.

I'm watching that game right now and was thinking it would be great to have Thunder and Lighting back for another year. Jekyl and Hyde would be great to have back for a year. I can definitely say, we are a far faster team than we were in 2007.

If I remember right, we used to drive the length of the field and we could never score. We only made field goals when they were ridiculously long - like 55 yards and miss the short ones.

The defense always seemed to know what play was coming at them though. Ah the old days!

We had Sean Claffey and others. Next to the WR for the Chargers, I think Claffey is the most underrated player of the last 20 years! He was amazing how fast he could read a play and close for a tackle for a loss. he made a ton of tackles for a loss when others would have given up some yards.

It will be exciting to see the battle between Smith and Pittser. They're both better qb's than ACS was coming out of high school. They have a lot of weapons at wide receiver after this year's signing class. In addition, two would be senior starters lost their jobs in spring ball to a couple of new linemen. The qb's line will be significantly better than it was for ACS as a freshman.

Which guy is hungrier? Who's working harder today?

Smith has a bit of an advantage graduating early and arriving months ago.

Bring on Pittser and Smith. A better qb has arrived, and they aren't going to quit.

Actually Pittser is only rated a bit higher than ACS on both Rivals and Scout, while ACS is rated a bit higher than Smith. Neither of the new guys had as many offers as ACS. Until we see Pittser do something my money is on Smith. Having said that, if they're both better, and have better weapons, and we have new linemen, and even our coaches have some experience now, does this mean with our easier schedule we can expect one of them to lead us to a bowl victory this year? I hope so.
