I liked Dan, bad to see him go. He fits better there though...
 
Once a Ram, always a Ram. Must have been pretty tough on him to see those Wyoming players rush across the field and grab the boot, even if he was coaching them.

I can't begrudge him that.

I always wondered...since he was hired by DC here...how in the hell somebody from the dark side could ever, truly, make the transition. Question answered. He couldn't.

Maybe Rice sucked that bad! :lol:
 
As a Ram fan I am not excited to have him back. He was problematic as the former CSU offensive coordinator. I don't really want to see him make decisions again.

SF wasn't my first choice as head coach, but I'll stick with him for now. He seems to be getting quality kids.

My big complaint is that the play calling needs to get better at CSU too often the plays are completely predictable and the plays were even more predictable when Hammer was last at CSU.

The coach that is leaving (Peterson) has the reputation of being a great recruiter, so I'm sad to see him go. Peterson actually called the plays for the first three games this year until Fairchild took over after a disagreement between the two of them.

So they won three games in a row. Then Fairchild took over the playcalling and CSU lost 9 in a row. Hmmmm..... nice job Coach.

We've got two of them,

Pete Thomas, #19 QB 4*'s according to rivals, Tom Lemming says hes the #6 QB. He'll be on campus in the fall.

Tyler Shreve, #26 #QB 3*'s according to rivals, throws a 94 mph fastball so he might not be on campus in the fall. He has said that he wants to compete with Pete for the position.

One of those two will be a nice counterpart for ACS for the next few years. I hope that the competition helps bring both our programs back to the top.
