Halftime

Anyone as frustrated as me?

We look lost.

Who is at fault now? Is it the players or is it English's vanilla defense? The O-line and the recievers or the inability of the OC to come up with something that gets some fvcking yards (maybe even a, dare I say, a TOUCHDOWN)?

I just dont get it. The tenth game of the season and we havent improved any area of the game. In fact, we've looked worse every game (OK, its hard to look worse than we did last week).

Whats the explanation? Coaching? Heart? Simply a pure lack of talent?

If you can't win the line of scrimmage on offense and then can't play defense it makes for a long day. All the Xs and Os in the world can't help us. We are slow, weak, and just about everything you don't want in a football team.

I still think DC is a great coach but Vince Lombardi himself couldn't coach these players up.

So much for the defensive side of the "special forces" too.

I guess we'll just have to wait for another couple of recruiting classes then. Hopefully the second half wont be too unbearable.

Defense used to be our strong point. What happened? SDSU is pretty much moving at will. Though in the first half, Wyoming was leading in total yards and TOP.. and still losing.. it doesn't usually work like that. Plus they're 5-11 on 3rd down, which is better than normal.

We don't have the players for the 4-3. Our defense has been extremely vanilla. NOT WYOMING FOOTBALL!

I hate the way we play on defense. Every pass is an automatic 10+ yard completion, pretty much. When did we last grab an interception? We've never even been CLOSE to picking off a pass in quite a while.

On offense, at least we moved the ball somewhat. Sure we couldn't execute in the red zone, but unlike previous games, we actually got into the red zone in the first place.

ACS must of have made a deal w/ the devil on the sidelines. Two iffy passes complete for large gains. Amazing.

The wheels have come off and are nowhere in sight. If this is how we play in a must-win situation then we don't deserve to win. I'm about to shut this game off I'm so pissed. Our red zone offense is worse than pathetic. The worst part is that the team is absolutely KILLING themselves with stupid penalties and turnovers. Words cannot express how f***ing mad I am right now.

At least we finally have some resemblance of a passing game at the end of the 3rd quarter. (shine that turd!)

Jesus that was lucky. 3rd and 13 converted, complete to Bulger in triple coverage.
That first one was a beautiful throw at least, give him SOME credit for it. Also Bolger was hit twice in the head - surprised there wasn't a flag. But since he came down with it, I guess it doesn't matter.

I wish we'd stop running so much on first down - at least mix in some play action in it.

It was a well placed throw, I wasn't saying that. Im just a little shocked anytime we actually catch a ball at this point.

Now consider the impact on the goal line fumble. San Diego scored 3 points on it, a 10 point swing. We'd still be in the game.
